Custom Fabrication

The best place to start is with a description of what you have in mind.

When possible, please include dimensions, preferred colours, style, or reference images, estimated budget, and deadline.

I’ll review the details and follow up to discuss design, pricing, and next steps.

Pricing depends on the size and complexity of the project, the type of glass used, the number of individual pieces, the fabrication technique, and the time required to complete the work.

A small decorative piece will generally cost less than a large, intricate window or a complex kiln-formed artwork. Once I understand your project and its requirements, I can provide an estimate.

Stained glass is made by cutting individual pieces of coloured glass and assembling them using copper foil and solder, or lead came.

Fused glass is created by arranging compatible pieces of glass, and other design elements like stringers, noodles, and frit, and heating them in a kiln until they fuse together.

Both approaches offer different creative possibilities, and some projects may incorporate elements of both techniques.

I prefer not to take on repair work. If you’re looking to have a project repaired, I would suggest contacting Jeanette at Glory Glass for any repair inquiries.

Classes

There are a maximum number of 10 students in the Intro to Stained Glass course, and a maximum of 5 students in the Intermediate Stained Glass Panel course & Window Corner course. Fused glass classes have a capacity of 8 to 10 people, depending on the class.

If you cancel more than a week before the event starts you will receive a refund, minus a 7% administration fee or you can opt to reschedule to a future class.

If you cancel less than 7 days notice, there are no refunds but you may re-schedule for an alternate class date. Students may only reschedule once before forfeiting their original ticket. Any students that wishes to reschedule must do so within a 6 month period, otherwise they forfeit their original ticket. No shows with no indication of cancelation will not received a refund and will not be able to re-schedule for an alternate class date.

Out of respect to the other students, latecomers arriving more than 5 minutes late will not be allowed entry to the class, will be considered a no show, and will not be eligible for a refund or to transfer their ticket to a future date.

Although there are 10 designs to choose from, if you wanted to do something different that’s okay too!  As long as it’s doable as a first project for a beginner in the time that we have then you can do it in the class.

On average, a first project will have 7 pieces in it.

Please make sure the design is free to use, and is not another artist’s copyrighted work. Students must contact Corinne in advance fo the class to inquire about your design and if it will be doable in the class.

All materials are supplied but it is recommended to bring a bottle of water and tie your hair back if you have long hair. A light snack is also recommended as there is a 30 minute break in the middle of the class. All participants should wear closed toed shoes. All materials are otherwise supplied.

Absolutely!  If you have a group of at least 6 people, we can arrange a private group class.  Contact Corinne to arrange a date that works for you. I typically need about 2 months notice in order to arrange a date.

Unfortunately, no. It is located on the 2nd floor of the building, which is only accessible by stairs.

The classes are quite physical, and students must be able to move around and constantly adjust between sitting and standing throughout the class.

No! Anyone is welcome to take a class in my studio space.
